| One Hour Excursion |

After a short lesson in driving ATVs and other information about our vehicles, we depart from out the front of our Goreme office, which is right in the centre of Cappadocia.
The excursion starts by driving towards Love Valley and after the first 200m, the journey will be along the beautiful trails of Cappadocia. Travelling along the initial path towards the Valley you will see a unique side of Cappadocia that the majority of tourists don’t have the opportunity to see – such as the local villagers tending to their vegetable gardens and pumpkin fields and the wild vineyards – and then as you climb up to the highest side of Love Valley you have a panoramic view of the area. There are many majestic photo opportunities all the way along this trail and you can stop or slow down whenever you want to take in the view. The guide, with his experience in the area, will take you to the best scenic lookouts for wonderful photographs. For the more daring rider, there are numerous smaller trails going off to the side and you can explore these with the help of your guide if you are feeling adventurous. After the views, we head down into the Valley to see the popular Love Valley chimneys and you can drive amongst them. Not far away is Old Cavusin Ghost Town which used to be a Greek town during the Ottoman Empire. This town was built along a rock face and has been left untouched since the settlers left. You will have the opportunity to walk around the houses and buildings and climb up into the rock caves to see how they lived. You will find some amazing Ottoman and Greek designed cave and stone houses.
After Cavusin we will be heading back into beautiful Goreme town via the outskirts of Swords Valley. |
